About the blog
This blog has healthy, filling, & cheap gluten-free recipes you can make while backpacking or traveling. These recipes are simple and surprisingly good, and utilize easy-to-find and lightweight ingredients from the grocery store - so even if you are invited last minute on a trip and don’t live near an REI you can still eat well on the trail.
I’ll also share foraging tips for supplementing your meals, reviews of gluten free snacks, and fun finds in foreign grocery stores.
(I’m using Amazon affiliate links and the Buy Me A Coffee donation links to fund this blog. I don’t link to anything that I have not personally bought or used. I hate flashing advertisements and long winded stories just for SEO before you can actually see a whole recipe so I don’t put those in.)
About Me
I’m a traveler living nomadically and have pretty significant dietary restrictions (gluten free, allergic to certain fruits/nuts/grains/soy). I don’t have a dehydrator or place to store a ton of ingredients, and I don’t love spending tons of money on pre-made backpacking food. I need to eat vegetables every day or I get sad.
